Product manager Juha Niiranen

Juha Niiranen started as a product manager in Fluent in February. Juha, who’s built career on ICT business, is going to focus on customer-oriented approaches and improve the communication between our product development and customers.

A bit over a month ago Juha started as a product manager in Fluent, and he’s got an important job to fulfil: As a product manager he works as a critical link between Fluent’s customers and development team. The position is new in Fluent, thus Juha will increase the dialogue between our customers and product development team, for example, by listening closely to the feedback from our customers.

“I think customer-oriented approach is the key in this position. I want us to make ourselves more visible to our customers and ask them more opinions and all kinds of thoughts about our product, because after all they’re the ones we’re making this for. They know best what should be improved”, Juha thinks.

I want us to make ourselves more visible to our customers and ask them more opinions and all kinds of thoughts about our product.

Before Fluent Juha Niiranen worked in social and health fields as an ICT designer on system services and as a product support in Fastroi, to name a few. Juha points out that his history in Fastroi is one of his most important trump cards in Fluent: Fluent Progress was differentiated from Fastroi in 2015, so the background of the company is well-known to Juha.

“Humour is still just as high flying as before, so that feels kinda like coming back to home”, Juha says.

Juha became acquainted with Fluent Kunto system already at Fastroi times, and he’s familiar with many of the customers too.

“It has of course helped to get used to the new job. If I didn’t have any previous background in this company there would be a lot more to learn in the beginning”, Juha states.

I think it’s important to ask our customers directly how we’re doing.

As a product manager Juha envisions to advance both the customer satisfaction and Fluent’s products and services in equal terms.

“To wrap it up one could say that I want everyone to be happy. This can be achieved by keeping the product competitive and modern while listening to the needs and expectations of customers. I think it’s important to ask our customers directly how we’re doing”, Juha summarizes.
