Team lead Jere Teittinen

Jere Teittinen started as a team lead at Fluent in August. Having gained ten years of experience in the IT sector, Jere hopes to guide Fluent’s product development in an even more user-oriented direction.

Jere Teittinen, who jumped into the shoes of the team lead of Fluent’s Kunto team at the beginning of August, already had some contact with Fluent: In the early stages of his career, Jere had worked for several years at Fastroi, where Fluent’s history also begins.

“There is a really positive and relaxed atmosphere here, which I am happy about. It has been easy to join the work community”, says Jere.

Jere moved to Fluent from Nordea, where he also worked as a team leader.

You have to know how to guide the team in the right direction technically, but at the same time you also have to know how to help the team members develop.

“The people I know at Fluent and the product I know to some extent have certainly contributed to the fact that things have started quickly,” Jere thinks.

During his career, Jere has also had time to work in software development, among other things. Technical competence is also required in the role of team lead.

“As a supervisor, this is a very multifaceted job description. You have to know how to guide the team in the right direction technically, but at the same time you also have to know how to help the team members develop.”

If you just sit at the computer and solve tickets, user-centricity can get lost in the technical work.

At Fluent, Jere hopes to take product development in an even more user-oriented direction.

“I would like product development and sales to go hand in hand in a certain way. If you just sit at the computer and solve tickets, user-centricity can get lost in the technical work. The development of the ground work, such as test automation, is also important in terms of the actual product development work,” states Jere.
