The municipality of Lapinlahti, the municipality of Taivalkoski and the city of Porvoo have implemented the Fluent Outdoors system for monitoring sports facilities and camping destinations. In the initial phase, Lapinlahti will show the ski tracks in the system, and Taivalkoski and Porvoo will show not only the ski tracks but also the hiking trails in their area.
In addition, several municipalities have expanded the sports information in Fluent Outdoors during the fall: for example, in Oulu, the service now also shows snowmobile routes.
