Terms of Use for Fluent Outdoors Service

General

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern the use of the Fluent Outdoors service (“Service”).

By using the Service, the user agrees to comply with these Terms.The Service is provided by Fluent Progress RT Oy (“Service Provider”).

Content and Intellectual Property Rights

All data, content, map materials, location information, descriptions, and other information available in the Service (collectively “Content”) are the property of:

  • the Service Provider and/or
  • third parties (such as municipalities, cities, organizations, and partners)

and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

All rights to the Content are reserved.

License to Use

The user is granted a limited, non-exclusive, and non-transferable right to use the Service solely for its intended purpose.

The user agrees to use the Service only for:

  • personal use, or
  • internal organizational use

unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Prohibited Use

The following actions are strictly prohibited without prior written consent from the Service Provider:

Reuse and Distribution of Data

  • Copying, publishing, or displaying the Content in other services, platforms, or applications
  • Integrating the Content into another service or database
  • Redistributing the Content to third parties

Commercial Exploitation

  • Using the Content directly or indirectly to generate revenue
  • Using the Content for advertising or marketing purposes in other services
  • Displaying the Content in services that generate advertising revenue or other financial benefit

Automated Data Collection

  • Scraping or systematically extracting Content
  • Using bots, robots, or automated tools to access or collect data
  • Bulk downloading, indexing, or systematically copying data

Modification and Derivative Works

  • Modifying, combining, or transforming the Content into a new service without permission

Ownership of Data

The data presented in the Service is primarily owned by the parties that have produced it. The user acknowledges that:

  • no ownership rights to the data are transferred to the user
  • the user has no right to use the data outside the Service without a separate agreement

Limitation of Liability

The Service Provider strives to ensure that the Content is accurate and up to date, but:

  • does not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of the Content
  • is not liable for any damages resulting from the use of the Content

Changes to the Service

The Service Provider reserves the right to:

  • modify the Service or its Content
  • update these Terms

Changes take effect when published in the Service.

Breach of Terms

If the user violates these Terms, the Service Provider has the right to:

  • immediately suspend or terminate access to the Service
  • take legal action if necessary

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Finland.

Any disputes shall primarily be resolved through negotiations and, if necessary, by a competent court in Finland.
